IDLH CONFINED SPACE ENTRY

The CHSC utilizes a Life Support System (SAMS) which consists of 3 separate air supplies, lock on helmets with hard line communication, full body harness and fall arrestor. All entries into confined spaces requires continuous gas monitoring, A-Frame with emergency rescue hoist, and first aid equipment. The system is approved for continuous use to perform catalyst services, internals removal and reactor repairs. The system meets all NIOSH and OSHA requirements for confined Space Entry and Emergency Rescue.
