Sulphiding of Catalyst
We have high pressure metering and dosing pumps enabling us to inject DMDS or similar into the feed of reactors.  This assists refineries that don’t have the equipment in place or changing operations has meant that this process is now necessary or improves the process.

Reactor Repairs and Modifications
We work closely with a number of internal suppliers and fabricators to enable us to assist our clients.  This ensures that reactors are repaired close to design specifications on site.  Our relationship with various screen fabricators ensures that scallops (pressed plate & v-wire) or center pipes/screens in CCR and Platformer reactors or grids/segmental plates in Parex and other types of reactors are correctly supplied or repaired.

Catalyst Transport Containers
Through our association with various companies we can now assist clients with the supply of specialized bins/containers for transport of catalyst to and from regeneration or disposal facilities.  These bins/containers can hold up to 10 barrels of catalyst and are UN 11A/Y approved.  Designed and built for catalyst we can organize transport, scheduling, logistics support and computerized bin tracking to meet your needs completely.

Catalyst Disposal By Reclamation
Catalyst Handling has relationships with a number of specialized companies so we can assist by offering this service to our clients. This service which (depending on the catalyst) can reduce disposal costs dramatically and in some cases return money to our client by the recovery of metals etc. All material is handled in accordance with UN specifications and certified documentation will always be supplied.

Long Term Catalyst Handling Contracts
Because of our commitment to training and specialized equipment selection we have entered into long term contracts with many refineries in Australia, Asia, the USA and Latin America.  It ensures that equipment and personnel are available for emergencies, allows the plant owner to budget easily as the costs are known up to 5 years in advance.  The scope can be accurately determined and in the event of an emergency the need to cover contractual issues is minimized.

Project Management and Cost Control
Your success and ours is assured if we can provide accurate information on turnaround time and cost. Catalyst Handling will provide realistic Project Schedules using Prima Vera, Microsoft Project and other specialized planning programs that provides for daily updates on projected project schedules to actual time required to execute work. Our estimating program allows for daily updates and “s curve reports” and we can report daily to ensure that costs and schedule are monitored and maintained.
