The Catalyst Handling Life Support System consists of multiple air supplies that feed the lock on helmets to ensure safety. The system also incorporates hard line communication, egress bottle a full body harness and is connected to a fall arrest system. Some of the system also contain cameras that are mounted on the helmets that allow for real time inspection and a greater understanding of the circumstances inside the reactors. Up to 4 helmet cameras can be viewed at any time, an additional stand alone camera can also be connected to the system and recorded to ensure quality is maintained or a record of repairs is available. |
